What is Engagement Rings Magazine?
People often asked us what we do at ERM and how are we different from any other site that informs you about Engagement Rings? After all, isn't the information out there the same?
What sets us apart from all the other websites is we do the leg work for you. Most of the information available on our site can be found among the 1000s of websites out there, you just have to know exactly what terms to look for and hopefully it's explained to you as if you're a normal person and not a jewelry expert. Most of the sites we've visited excel at one or two aspects of disseminating information, which means to fully understand the process you'll probably have to visit 20 - 30 sites over the course of a few months and spend hours combing through the information. We knew there was a better way, so we built it.
Buying an engagement ring is probably one of the first 'big purchases' you'll make and unfortunately the majority of the rings out there are poorly proportioned, over priced or both. Naturally to educate yourself you visit the web and try to find as much information as possible, but where do you look? National brands? Official associations? Videos? Reviews? Friends? Family? If you're like the majority of Americans you'll probably do all of the above but you'll quickly realize there are dozens of national brands, more than 16 official associations with different grading scales, 1000s of videos, 1000s of reviews, and friends and family that 'knows a guy' - it's just so overwhelming.
What we've done is aggregated the world's information so that you can quickly get what you need to make an informed decision. We've spent years, in the field, in libraries (The one's with books) and online searching for the best places to find the information and the best way to explain the information to you. And, if there wasn't one, then we made one. It's that simple, our goal is to be the one source for all things engagement ring.
